SHOWCASING THE OLORI ATUWATSE III 40TH BIRTHDAY WARDROBE

Tubo is proud to announce the premiere of "ELEMENTS," a short fashion documentary capturing the 12-month journey of design conceptualization for Her Royal Highness Olori Atuwase III's milestone 40th birthday. As part of Tubo's bespoke fashion and wardrobe management services, the brand has had the privilege of working closely with Olori as one of its longstanding clients, building a relationship rooted in intentional style, trust, and storytelling through fashion.

This collection is a masterclass in symbolic couture. The brief was simple yet profound: create pieces that speak to who the Olori is and the weight of what she carries.

The Olori Atuwatse III's decade-long history with Tubo:
As Her Royal Highness, Olori Atuwatse III, celebrates her 40th birthday, she also marks a profound personal milestone: ten years as the quintessential #rTUBOWoman.

This is not just a story of a designer and a client; it is a decade-long dialogue between a muse and a maker. For ten years, TUBO has had the distinct honor of translating Olori Atuwatse III life's mission & vision into bespoke pieces. It is a rare, symbiotic loyalty, one where the designer understands the muse without a single word being spoken.

The 12-Month Design Conceptualisation
The "ELEMENTS" brief is one that had to be carefully put together—the ideation process, design sketching, construction details, and ornament production all had to be carefully done with world-class craftsmanship and precision.

For this landmark birthday, the conceptualization process began over a year ago. Tubo took this brief personally, spending twelve months reflecting on the Olori Atuwatse III journey and translating that to couture.

Visualizing the ELEMENTS

The result is a four-part wardrobe that navigates Her Majesty's past, present, and future:

Roots: This element was visualized in a gold ensemble to illustrate how Her Majesty is grounded in her roots and how she stays connected to her people.

Fire: This element visualized the heat and passion of Her Majesty's lineage; this look was illustrated via Tubo's signature corsetry and intricate embellishment details to mimic the rhythmic patter of raindrops on the Niger Delta creeks.

Water: This element was visualized by a silver crystallized gown with an elegant cape befitting Her Majesty, designed to visualize the Olori's legacy—light, life-giving, and expansive across the continent.

Rebirth: This element was a textured moss-green ensemble. A structural exploration of clarity that represents a decade of "new beginnings" and unclouded vision.

The Visions of Purpose
Beyond the fabric, the relationship between Olori Atuwatse III and Tubo is anchored on shared values. Both women are architects of change. While Tubo redefines the African fashion narrative, the Olori is fiercely committed to elevating women across the continent. Her vision for the next decade is clear: conquering new territories and strengthening the "self" of every girl-child through education and empowerment, beyond looks & beauty

As the "Queen Dresser," Tubo does not just create clothes; she constructs ateliers for a woman whose life is dedicated to service, culture, and the elevation of her people. This 10-year anniversary is a testament to what happens when loyalty meets legacy.
