Born in May 1991, Sandrah Tubobereni founded TUBO in 2014. Armed with her creative vision to change the world through fashion coupled with her daring imagination and audacity Ms Tubo has stitched a distinct and recognisable aesthetic through the TUBO brand.

An MBA graduate of Coventry University, with a First Class in Global Financial Services with experience in Business Development. The Port Harcourt born designer brings together a refined style and understanding of the female physique, through designs and fabrics infused with her Nigerian Heritage.

TUBO believes in celebrating and empowering women through clothes. Encapsulating the vibrancy of African culture merged with contemporary global influences. As a self-taught designer, her passion fuels her ability to create, pushing the boundaries on style and creativity.

Ms Tubo has designed for and dressed the likes of Olori Atuwatse III of Warri Kingdom, Tiwa Savage and Toke Makinwa.

Tubobereni is a blend of creativity and impact, with key focus on not just the business and numbers, but the impact on National Development. Her focus on Community Development and hunger for a better Nigeria entrenches her creativity and ability to do greater things in the industry.

Tubobereni’s vision is to change the world through fashion, elevating the womenswear fashion brand beyond being the runway’s most anticipated pieces to being the wardrobe staple for stylish women all over the world.

As a feminist, she seeks equality and equal opportunities for men and women. Her passion for the empowerment of the youth and women, National development and poverty alleviation waxes strong.

Tubobereni made her debut into the Nigerian fashion scene in November 2014, switching from a flourishing career in Business Development and Finance; to Fashion. TUBO is a brand that Sandrah Tubobereni built organically, from her bedroom in Dolphin estate, Lagos, with very little to no funds to start with, but just a vision and core values that she was dedicated to. In 2017, she released her first official fashion projection – a collection inspired by the acknowledgement of what a woman embodies – showcasing the TUBO Woman.

Creating a cohesive collection that communicated a visual metaphor of the Fragility, Femininity and Strength of Women, she birthed the anti-fictitious womenswear label. This sophisticated collection received a lot of accolades and carved the brand’s unique space in the Global Fashion industry as it was sought after at home and abroad.
